Greetings from the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT). Since its inception, the IQAC at SMUCT has played a pivotal role in institutionalizing a culture of quality and excellence. Anchored in our commitment to global standards, the IQAC has developed and implemented a comprehensive framework for academic and administrative quality assurance. Our quality enhancement mechanisms are firmly aligned with international best practices, the standards set by Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework, Bangladesh Accreditation Council, and strategic global imperatives such as the SDGs and the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Over the years, IQAC has developed and institutionalized a comprehensive framework for quality assurance, encompassing academic program self-assessment, curriculum modernization, faculty .

The IQAC was established with a vision to develop quality consciousness in all aspects of institutional life. Our mandate includes supporting continuous improvement, fostering creativity and innovation in higher education, and enhancing the capacity of faculty, staff, and students to meet contemporary academic and professional challenges. In alignment with national standards and global expectations, IQAC is committed to maintaining an effective system of monitoring, evaluation, and development. We actively promote scholarly engagement, data-driven decision-making, and participatory approaches to institutional growth. Through regular training programs, academic audits, and performance reviews, we help departments identify their strengths and areas for enhancement. The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established in public and private university of Bangladesh to develop a mechanism for systematic reviews of study programs, and to ensure quality teaching-learning, research, knowledge generation and support services standards at an acceptable level.

IQAC will become a University’s operation to help educational and administrative excellence in higher education in Bangladesh.

Mission
To create and run a concrete quality assurance and developing education system in Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh, a sustainable policy and continuous improvements has been practicing since its inception. For all teachers’, students’, supports axes and development in standards, compatible with enhancement in overall satisfaction with the wants of stakeholders qualifying the University to be a destination for the successful life.
Vision
By practicing, incorporating and believing of quality education in Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology, we support equal and fair evaluation for teachers’ training, workshop, different policies and systems to achieve standard position in cultural education.
