The IQAC of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology organized a workshop titled ATF Sub-Project Proposal Writing on January 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Auditorium of the University. Professor Dr. Md. Mozahar Ali, ATF Management Specialist, Higher Education Acceleration and Transformation (HEAT) project was present as the resource person. He explained the format and various technical aspects of writing sub-project proposal for ATF grants. Prof. Ali also highlighted such areas as pandemic readiness related research and development, improvement of teaching-learning infrastructure, advanced research, and establishment of fab labs, innovation labs, business incubators and technology transfer offices.

Md. Moniruz Zaman, Director of IQAC, delivered the welcome speech. Prof. Mostafizul Haque, Hon’ble Chairman, BoT, SMUCT, was present in the event as the Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. Md. Shah-E-Alam, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor’, SMUCT, was present as the Special Guest. Mohammad Kamaluddin, Additional Director (In-charge) of IQAC, conducted the program. All Deans, Heads of the departments, members of Program Self-Assessment Committees, and faculty members from different departments attended the event. The workshop provided the participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to develop strong and competitive proposals for ATF grants. The workshop ended at 1:00 PM after the question-answer session.
