The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology organized a workshop titled OBE Curriculum Review, Finalization and Implementation” on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 10:00 am in the auditorium of the University. The participants were the Heads and the curriculum review team members of 8 selected departments including the Department of Fashion Design and Technology, Department of Graphic Design and Multimedia, Department of Business Administration, Department of Law, Department of English, Department of Bangla, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, and Department of Government and Politics. Professor Mostafizul Haque, Hon’ble  Chairman, BoT, and Prof. Dr. Md. Shah-E-Alam, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the University were present in the workshop. They addressed the participants and motivated them to work diligently in close coordination with the IQAC for reviewing, finalizing and implementing the OBE curricula and improving the quality of teaching and learning at SMUCT which will contribute to the creation of skilled workforce for the nation. Among others, all Deans were also
present in the workshop. The Director of IQAC. Md. Moniruz Zaman conducted the entire program. The participants were provided with technical knowledge and guidelines required for reviewing, finalizing and implementing OBE curriculum in line with Bangladesh National Qualifications Framework (BNQF), UGC’s OBE curriculum template and international best practices through interactive discussion and group activities.
