Training Programme on Quality Education in Higher Level

A training programme on Quality Education in Higher Level was held on November 27, 2018 at the Creative Hub. It was organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology.

The Key-note speaker was Prof. Dr. A. Jagan Mohan Reddy of Symbiosis Institute of Management, Hyderabad, India. He dwelt at length on the different aspects of quality education. He discussed how to make a class interesting to the students, how to make a class effective, characteristics of a good teacher etc.

The welcome speech was given by Prof. Dr. Yasmin Ahmed, Director of IQAC. She cordially welcomed all who were present in the programme.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Quazi Md. Mafizur Rahman was present as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he laid emphasis on quality education and declared the training programme open.

Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Halim Shaikh, Dean of the Faculty of Design and Technology, laid emphasis on the necessity of quality education in higher level.

Prof. Dr. Md. Zaman Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Management & General Studies praised the IQAC for organizing the program which is very important for enhancing quality of education.

Ms. Tazia Sultana, a member of IQAC, read out the short biography of Prof. Dr. A. Jogan Mohan Reddy.

53 faculty- members, including Heads of different departments, actively participated in the programme. Certificates were given to the participants.

Vote of thanks was given by the Head of the Department of Interior Architecture, Ar. Mohiuddin Akhand. The programme was anchored by Mr. Md. Anwarul Hoque, Additional Director of IQAC. The programme was fruitful and conducive.
