Peer Review program of the Department of Sociology & Anthropology of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology was held on the July 14, 15 and 16, 2018, in the conference room of IQAC and in the concerned department.
The peer reviewers were Prof. Dr. Abdul Awwal Biswas, Department of Anthropology & Director, IQAC, Shahajalal University of Science & Technology,as Quality Expert (Local); Mr. Zahid Bin Rahim, Additional Director, IQAC, BGC Trust University Chittagong, as Quality Expert (Local) and Prof. Hasan A. Shafie, Chairman, Department of Anthropology, Dhaka University, as Subject Expert.
Presentation on the department was given by Dr. Khandakar Mursheda Farhana, Head-in-Charge; Md. Mehedi Hasan and Md. Amirul Hoque Parvez gave a presentation on the Self Assessment report.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Quazi Md. Mafizur Rahman, , Respected Registrar Ar. Hosne Ara Rahman, Head of Admission, Deputy Controller of Exams, Head of Marketing, faculties, SAC members, Alumni, Employees, Employers and Non- Academic staff. and other high officials took part in a discussion meeting with the Peer Reviewers.
Prof. Dr. Yasmin Ahmed, Director, IQAC and Mr. Md. Anwarul Hoque Additional Director, IQAC were present in the program. IQAC did the overall arrangement in association with the department and supervised the whole program.
The Peer Reviewers appreciated highly the activities and endeavors of the department in particular and the university at large.
